All of the data on the cloud is stored on the backend storage devices, while all software applications used to access the cloud are run on the computers. Each software application also has a dedicated server, while the central server is used to monitor traffic and to ensure everything is running smoothly.
3. Network
As the key component of the entire cloud computing system, the network allows the frontend and the backend to connect to one another over the Internet.
Cloud computing also uses three main cloud deployment models to allow you to access information from anywhere with an Internet connection. These three models are:
1. Public
As the main model used in cloud computing, the public cloud allows consumers to access the cloud system over the Internet. This means that consumers do not have to worry about dealing with any infrastructure ownership.
2. Private
While the private cloud is designed to offer the same resource sharing and scalability of the public cloud, this model offers improved security that only allows the owners to have access to the cloud system. This means that the owner will need to purchase and manage all of their resources and employees.
3. Hybrid
The hybrid model works to combine both the private and public clouds with a link over the Internet. This model allows for better disaster recovery or flexibility in situations when the private cloud needs to use the vast resources of the public cloud.
