This is not a surprise; Google hasn\u2019t produced too many products that prove unpopular with consumers. But are you using Gmail to its fullest potential? Below you can find some tricks to help you manage your inbox.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/support.google.com\/mail\/bin\/answer.py?hl=en&#038;answer=118708\">Label your messages<\/a>: Applying labels to your messages visually organizes your inbox so you know what emails you should address first. For instance, if there are many emails that you need to deal with before the others you can mark them with a red \u201cImportant\u201d label. Or, if you are planning a vacation, you can apply a green \u201cVacation\u201d label to any verification emails that come in.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/support.google.com\/mail\/bin\/answer.py?hl=en&#038;answer=6576\">Free up space with archiving<\/a>: Do you like to keep your inbox clear of emails, but you can\u2019t delete ones you have read because you may need them? Rather than make a bunch of different files you can easily archive old emails. Archiving emails sends them to an \u201cAll Mail\u201d folder so they don\u2019t clutter up your inbox but you can easily still access them when needed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/email.about.com\/od\/gmailtips\/qt\/et_signature.htm\">Add a signature<\/a>: Tired of typing your name, phone number, and email address at the end of each of your Gmail messages? Why not create an email signature? Gmail allows you to save signatures that you can then simply drop into the bottom of your messages. This is a great time saver for anyone who writes dozens of email messages during a normal day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/support.google.com\/mail\/bin\/answer.py?hl=en&#038;answer=6579#1\">Filter your incoming messages<\/a>: Gmail can automatically filter your incoming emails. For example, if you are presently accepting applications for a job opening, you can create a filter that directs any email with the words \u201cresume\u201d or \u201capplication\u201d to a file you have created called \u201cApplicants\u201d.
