It&rsquo;s an online presentation tool that&rsquo;s different than most and, for that reason, has a great deal of fans. What, exactly, makes Prezi so wonderful?<\/p>\n<p \/>\n<p><strong>Flash-based<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prezi is a flash-based tool, which makes it easier to create non-linear presentations. Most presentation tools require you to go slide-by-slide and don&rsquo;t leave much room for creativity aside from clipart. With Prezi, your presentation is more like a thought map than anything else, which makes it flow much more naturally.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>You are able to zoom in and out of that map to view various parts of the presentation, and can move between areas. This eliminates the need to have identical slides throughout the presentation. It also prevents you from having to revisit a previous slide if you must reference it again.<\/p>\n<p \/>\n<p><strong>Intuitive<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Although Prezi&rsquo;s interface takes some adjusting, it is extremely intuitive once you&rsquo;ve figured it out. Many people tend to be non-linear thinkers, which makes standard slide-by-slide presentations seem awkward. Prezi gets rid of that problem.<\/p>\n<p \/>\n<p \/><\/p>\n<p>If you are having any difficulty getting used to the user interface, simply take a look at one of the many tutorials on <a href=\"http:\/\/prezi.com\/\">Prezi&rsquo;s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p \/>\n<p>Prezi is web-based but it lets you download your presentations once they have been created so you don&rsquo;t need Internet access to actually present.
