That\u2019s what I thought! You\u2019ll want to give this some thought, since huge numbers of people are interacting with Facebook daily, and more than half of those are <a href=\"http:\/\/newsroom.fb.com\/Key-Facts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">connecting with their mobile devices<\/a>. Going further, it\u2019s been shown that 79% of smartphone users use their phones to help with shopping, with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moodmedia.com\/2013\/06\/05\/why-mobile-marketing-is-a-must-do-for-small-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">74% making a purchase as a result<\/a>. While much of Facebook would appear to be mobile optimized out of the box, there are some aspects of this you\u2019ll want to check.<\/p>\n<p><b>First see how your Facebook Page shows up on a mobile device<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Facebook will condense your Page into elements in the following order: Timeline, Recommendations and Check-ins, Photos and your most recent post. Since there are many ways we can make our pages look, this isn\u2019t always so with a mobile device.<\/p>\n<p><b>A few suggestions to help optimize your Facebook Page<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keep in mind that you have much less time and space on Mobile to get the attention of your visitors. Take pains to use smaller, eye-catching photos, and also to not mince words! Be brief and direct in your text and especially any calls to action.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cPin\u201d a post you would like to show up first in your mobile timeline, because this will ensure it does.<\/li>\n<li>Log into your Facebook page from a mobile device and see that your important info is not only there but correct. You need people to manage to find you! This can be accomplished using \u201cFacebook Nearby\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>One way to boost social word of mouth is to encourage check-ins from your location.
